A friend was visiting from the States, and since he is a vegetarian and this is his first time in China, I chose this place as an introduction to his Shanghai experience.
The decor of the restaurant is interesting and oriental. The menu is quite extensive, but in terms of vegetarian dishes there is not a lot to choose from, and some of the dishes are not always available.
We ordered a couple of dishes and they all tasted good, although some might find the size of these dishes to be on the small side.
It is worth noting that there is a minimum spending of 100RMB/ person, and they charge 5RMB each for the napkin and some additional amount for the tablecloth.
Overall, the experience was fair, but the steep bill at the end of the night means I will not be a regular.
PS. Do check out the bathroom when you are there.
