This new and modern indoor aquarium offers visitors a glimpse of life on the ocean floor. Access to the exhibits is through an unusual entrance comprising a mock airplane and a flight of stairs resembling an Inca Temple. Schools of colorful fish are viewed against a backdrop of themes, such as a sunken pirate ship, mountain streams and rain forests. The aquarium also features a touching pool, and tanks housing unusual crustaceans, sea-horses, corals and anemones. Perhaps most impressive is the deep ocean and sea floor exhibit that brings visitors face-to-face with sharks, sea snakes and other creatures of the deep.
